Peggy Trumble, 90, of Cleethorpes, England, United Kingdom, passed away on 28 August 2024. She was a retired missionary who served in Eswatini for 20 years.

Trumble was born 1934 in Grimsby, England, United Kingdom, to Mable and W. E. Trumble. Peggy was the first of four siblings. She attended Scartho Primary School and Winteringham Grammar School before college. She studied at Kings College in Durham, earning a Bachelor of Science.

Her first job was to run the blood bank at the Royal Hospital. She became a missionary in 1968 and was placed in Swaziland (now Eswatini). She served there for 20 years before a car accident altered her life.

She remained on life support for four days, finally regaining consciousness. But the crash resulted in permanent brain damage, resulting in her return to Cleethorpes, where she was cared for by her brothers and sisters for the duration of her life.

In 1990, she received a distinguished service award from the Church of the Nazarene for her missionary service.

She was a regular member of Grimsby Church of the Nazarene for as long as her health allowed.

She is survived by her brother, Bill Trumble, and sister, Mabel Trumble.
