In Memoriam: October 23, 2015

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received October 19-23, 2015.

James "Jim" Adams, 85, of St. Louis, Michigan, passed away October 16. He was a retired minister, serving in Iowa and Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Cordell) Adams.

Jannie (Weisinger) Choate, 82, of Huntington, Texas, passed away October 16. She was the widow of retired minister Kirby Choate, who served in Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Kirby Choate passed away in 2010.

Cecil Geiger, 82, of Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, passed away October 20. He was a retired minister, serving in Saskatchewan, Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. He is survived by his wife, Alice Geiger. 

Charles Klaffke, 91, of Downey, California, passed away October 19. He was a retired minister, serving in Colorado and California. He is survived by his wife, Violet Klaffke. 

Lois Schmidt, 92, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away October 22. She was the widow of retired minister and evangelist Milford Schmidt, who served in Iowa and Missouri. Milford Schmidt passed away in March.
