All-Terrain 4x4 sent a team of youth and adolescents to the city of Monterrey, Mexico, to support communities in need from 26 December 2019 to 1 January 2020, in the Fomerrey 23 and Valle del Roble communities of Monterrey.

Twenty-two youth presented the Gospel message in various ways with the support of Genesis missionaries Daniel and Andrea Santiago. They put on a children’s Bible school, prayed for the sick, and cleaned homes. The Word was shared individually and to families in their homes, among others.

During this time, more than 60 children were served, and 43 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The All-Terrain 4x4 is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this January. Its mission is to provide a space for youth who participate in the Mission Orientation Camp to discover or confirm their call to missions. Young people are sent for a week to work to strengthen new missions and churches and to plant new churches.

“All-Terrain 4 × 4 has become an event that brings hope, peace, love, and salvation to urban homes through sharing Jesus Christ as the best gift people can receive,” said María Eugenia Rodríguez, program coordinator. “I am grateful to God for giving me the privilege of leading many young people for 10 years, seeing them develop and grow in favor with God and men.”

Participant Valeria Rodríguez, 14, shared the following:

“For two years God confirmed my call to missions. During the 4 × 4, my team and I had to go to a house in great need, and we offered to clean it. We met a 19-year-old girl who looked after her grandmother who is in bed and cannot move or talk. We were a great support for them. He expressed that he didn't know how to thank us.

“What struck me most was the moment we met to pray for the young woman (Kelly) and the lady (Cristina). We had a time when we couldn't stop crying and we asked God to take care of it and heal it, to give them strength to move on. We left very happy, and we repeated this for three days. Seven people accepted Christ in their hearts.”
