In Memoriam: 8 March 2019

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 4-8 March 2019.

Glenn Eades, 90, of Greenup, Illinois, passed away 21 February. He was a retired minister, serving in Illinois and Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Eades, in 2008.

Beatrice Flinner, 95, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away 1 March. She was the widow of retired minister, evangelist, and educator Lyle Flinner, who served in Pennsylvania. Lyle Flinner passed away in 2006. 

Robert Hislar, 74, of Lewiston, Idaho, passed away 5 March. He was a retired minister, serving in California. He is survived by his wife, Deann Heslar.

Fualaau Ho-Ching, 60, of Long Beach, California, passed away 26 January. She was the wife of Wilmington, California, First Samoan Church of the Nazarene pastor Taliu Ho-Ching.

Glenda (Spurlock) Mead, 84, of Porterville, California, passed away 20 February. She was the widow of retired minister Troy Mead, who served in California. Troy Mead passed away in 2018.

James Robertson, 97, of Arlington, Texas, passed away 28 February. He was a retired minister and evangelist, serving in Texas and Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Robertson, in 1998.

Dorothy (Markham) Stalter, 95, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away 2 March. She was the widow of retired minister Delmar Stalter, who served in Indiana. Delmar Stalter passed away in April.

Terry Stivers, 67, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away 25 February. He was a retired minister and educator, serving in Ohio, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Linda Stivers.

Evelyn (McLaughlin) Stockman, 96, Columbiana, Ohio, passed away 28 February. She was the widow of retired minister Ramond Stockman, who served in Ohio and Illinois. Raymond Stockman passed away in 1995.
