Three new District Superintendents elected in Africa Southeast Field

Three new district superintendents were elected on the Africa Southeast Field during the recent district assembly season. The Africa Southeast Field covers Zimbabwe, Malawai, and Zambia. Field Strategy Coordinator Paul Mtambo presided over all of the district assemblies on behalf of the Board of General Superintendents.

Hofisi Mutatu (pictured left) was elected superintendent of the Zimbabwe East District. His post became effective 5 December 2022. Mutatu was ordained in 1994. He began pastoring the Highlands Church of the Nazarene in 1995 and helped pastor the Chawagona Church of the Nazarene from 2010 to 2018.

Emmanuel Temuka (pictured center) was elected superintendent of the Malawi South District. His post was effective as of 22 November 2022. He was ordained in 2012 and has pastored Soche Church of the Nazarene since 2014.

Margaret Sibanda (pictured right) was elected superintendent of the Zimbabwe Midlands District. Her post became effective 9 November 2022. She was ordained in 2012 and has pastored Wood Lands Church of the Nazarene since 2017.
