The Countdown to General Assembly and the NDI General Convention Continues!

We have officially reached the end of 2022, which means the 30th General Assembly and Convention year will soon be upon us! So much is happening behind the scenes to make this event come to life. The best way to describe this is to have you think of a puzzle! When you open a puzzle, there are dozens of pieces, if not hundreds, and it can feel overwhelming at the beginning, especially if you don’t have help. Then a friend or two comes along to help you sort the edges from the middle pieces, and soon you start to see the border of your picture. Then you sort pieces by color or other themes, and you slowly start to see the picture come to life. Soon enough, you are narrowing the remaining pieces down to just a few, and then you are done! With teamwork, you were able to take many little pieces to make one big picture!
General Assembly planning is similar to this puzzle analogy! There are many pieces that are being sorted out by many people. And through teamwork, we are all getting closer to the final picture. Over the next three months, you will see a handful of things happen regarding registration, housing, volunteering, as well as service opportunities. Below are a few things to keep on your radar as we end 2022 and enter into 2023!
- Rooming blocks become available: delegate and public
- Informational videos released via social media and the GA website
- Registration opens – GA Guest, World Quiz, GA Kids
- Volunteer opportunities open – World Quiz and GA Kids
