Londrina District prayer

Claudemir Cardoso was elected superintendent of the Londrina District of Brazil during the 30th District Assembly. He will replace Gilberto Oliveira, who has led the district for the last six years.

The assembly was held in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. In addition to delegates and visitors, was attended by Oliveira, Brazil South Field Strategy Coordinator Romero Moreira, Brazil Sub-region Director Manuel Lima, and Eloi Moutinho, the first superintendent of the Londrina District.

At the end of the district assembly, leaders thanked the Lord for the care and direction Gilberto has given to the district in the last six years and prayed that God may continue and bear fruit through this new time with Cardoso.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
