On 14 November 2021, Nazarene Theological College-Brisbane (NTC) celebrated its 62nd commencement exercises. Thirteen students were honored for the completion of their studies. This year, both the students and guests were able to attend and participate in-person or via Zoom. The event was also broadcast live.

This year’s graduates are an example of NTC’s range of degrees, flexibility in educational modes, and geographical reach:

  • 1 student studied from Fiji
  • 2 students studied from Papua New Guinea
  • 4 students studied from the Brisbane campus
  • 3 students studied via Zoom from Australia
  • 4 students earned a Diploma of Christian studies
  • 4 students earned a Bachelor of Theology
  • 1 student earned a Graduate Diploma of Arts

Associate Professor David McEwan gave the commencement message, where he challenged all in attendance to carry out the ministry from a place of trust in God that is motivated by love and a willingness to sacrifice for the mission of God. Principal Rob Fringer shared the school’s 2021 highlights, which included:

  • an increase in student enrollment by 17 percent;
