More than 50 children and their parents from the Cuban community of Moa, Holguín, attended the "Children's Community Impact" held by Missions Mobilization (MM) on 22 July 2023.

During the activity, the children were taught the importance of obedience through Jonah's story. The volunteers also shared food, sweets, clothes, toys, and more with them. Pregnant mothers also received a basket with items specifically for them.

Elba Duson, Missions Mobilization coordinator for the Central Mesoamerica Area, said the event was possible thanks to various church members' support, the district's Nazarene Compassionate Ministries president, and District Superintendent Luis Batista.

"We marveled at seeing a life restored through the message," said Catalina Peña, MM coordinator for eastern Cuba.

"Doing missions in Cuba is a great challenge. Together with my team, we dream of continuing to teach our district that these events are possible," Pena said. "Our God provides, and I am confident that he will continue to provide the necessary strategies to move this ministry forward."

The ministry of MM is asking Nazarenes to unite in prayer for Cuba and the ministry of Missions Mobilization so that God raises more leaders who are dedicated and willing to serve.

"We want MM to become a strong ministry in every district and to develop potential missionaries through every short-, medium-, and long-term service opportunity," Duson said.
