More than 65 leaders of 24 churches in Ecuador held the first youth leadership summit for the relaunch of the Sismo Juvenil (Youth Earthquake), which is a support to the ministry of the youth in the Sierra Centro District.

This summit was held in the district's facilities from 28-30 July 2022. Its objective was to provide participants with practical resources for the care, accompaniment, and development of adolescents and youth.

The speakers for this event were Pamela Jaramillo, Luis Espinoza, Mario Paredes, Fernando Quishpi, Andrés Casares, Josué Franco. Several regional coordinators also participated via video — Junior Rodríguez, Yoan Camacaro,  and Jimmy De Gouveia.

The purpose of Sismo Juvenil is to share innovative and creative resources for the realization of camps, youth meetings, outreach groups, explosive evangelism, mentoring, and more.

"We dream of being a movement that transforms the new generations and that meets their real needs with greater dynamism and creativity without leaving our ring as Nazarenes,” said Josué Franco, coordinator of the Sismo Juvenil ministry. "We want to walk together with tutors and youth leaders to mentor them and have times of coaching  both individually and in groups."
