The Rocky Mountain District elected Bob Skinner as the new district superintendent 22 June. Bob and his wife, Colleen, currently serve as missionaries in Poland, a position they have held since 2014.

His election will be made effective 22 July. Bob replaces Bill Carr, who is retiring after serving in that position for the last seven years.

Bob grew up in John Day, Oregon, and attended Boise State University, graduating in 1982. While at Boise State, he worked with the youth ministry at Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Meridian, Idaho, and later met Colleen, who was attending Northwest Nazarene University

The couple both attended Nazarene Theological Seminary, graduating in 1990. They served for the next 30 years as Nazarene missionaries in the Philippines, Ukraine, Hungary, and Poland. While serving in Ukraine, Bob also served as the Ukraine district superintendent from 2007 to 2011.

Bob and Colleen currently reside in Poland.
