More than 20 Nazarene volunteers from the northern district of Mexico joined in “Amor sin Límites” (Love Without Limits), a project that lasted seven days in Chihuahua and aimed to share the message of love, faith, and compassion of Jesus. About 100 families benefited from this project.

The team engaged in various activities, including cleaning in public areas, prayer walks, cleaning and painting in a church and on a soccer field, free haircuts for 40 children and adults, and delivery of food and cleaning supplies to three families. They also held a Vacation Bible School for 40 children, a soccer tournament with more than 30 teenagers, and a “Caravan of Hope” that included prayer and evangelism.

To continue caring for the community holistically, they also held a “Health Caravan” in which 50 people received medical attention, such as tetanus vaccines, glucose and blood pressure checks, triglycerides and cholesterol checks, and free medications.

In addition, 15 older adults received facial treatments, nail painting, and haircuts. The team also spent time playing games, singing songs, delivering refreshments, and reflecting on the Word of God.

The team ended the day with a meeting, where they worshipped God and gave thanks for what he had done.

“It was a beautiful time of ministering and learning the Word, led by Pastor Guadalupe Marroquín,” Dawilda Rodríguez, a Genesis missionary in Chihuahua, said. “We rejoice because these five people received the Lord in their hearts!”

Rodriguez said they are confident the activity “left traces of love, faith, and hope.”

“We finished the event with dozens of contacts,” Rodriguez said. “We are praying for them, and they are already in a follow-up process. Some have already responded, and we have begun to visit and disciple.”
