Mesoamerica coordinators pray, plan for missionary expansion
The Mesoamerica Global Missions team recently gathered for a time of reflection, prayer, and conversation about how to improve, recruit, train, and send more missionaries throughout the region.
The team — made up of the region’s five field coordinators and the Global Missions regional coordinators, Emily and Scott Armstrong — met 26 to 30 September in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
"Glory to God because He is calling many to the mission field," said Freya Galindo, Central Field coordinator. “We were able to hear the voice of God in different ways, especially when the team prayed for the Lord to guide them in future plans and decisions. Together we recognized that as a team we are not working for God, but actually we are working with God.”
On the last day, the group prayed for the 34 countries that make up the Mesoamerica Region, including field leaders, district leaders, and local churches.
"We invite you to join us in prayer for Global Missions so that God continues to raise more missionaries through this ministry to impact the nations," Galindo said.
