In Memoriam: 5 April 2019
The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 1-5 April 2019.
Eileen Beecher, 94, of Laguna Niguel, California, passed away 19 March. She was the widow of retired minister Donald Beecher, who served in Washington and California. Donal Beecher passed away in 2002.
David Brantley, 78, of Alanson, Michigan, passed away 29 March. He was a retired minister, serving in Indiana and Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Brantley, in 2007.
Marcia Goff, 67, of Antlers, Oklahoma, passed away 2 April. She was the wife of retired minister and evangelist Thomas Goff, who served in Oklahoma and Washington.
Walden Hughes, 75, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 26 March. He was the Northwest Nazarene University Music professor. He is survived by his wife, Monica Hughes.
David Kennedy, 81, of West Lafayette, Indiana, passed away 3 April. He was a retired minister, serving in California. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kennedy.
Harry Mingledorff, 97, of Johnson, Vermont, passed away 31 March. He was a retired minister and missionary, serving in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Georgia, Peru, and Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Mingledorff, in 2012.
Howard Rickey, 91, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away 25 March. He was a retired minister and evangelist, serving in Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Massachusetts.
Wanda Stewart, 86, of Rockport, Indiana, passed away 30 March. She was a retired minister, serving in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister and evangelist Orville Stewart, who served in Indiana and Kentucky. Orville Stewart passed away in 2007.
Jack Whitehorse Sr., 86, of Winslow, Arizona, passed away 25 March. He was a retired minister, serving in Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Whitehorse.
