The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 27 February - 3 March 2023.

Marlene Bowman, 89, of Wildomar, California, passed away 26 February 2023. She was the wife of Roger Bowman, a retired minister who served in Mississippi and California. He led the Los Angeles District as superintendent from 1992-1999.

Terry Brown, 82, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away 21 February 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio, Alabama, Michigan, North Carolina, and Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Brown.

Karen Coulter, 73, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, passed away 27 February 2023. She was the wife of R. Riley Coulter, president of Ambrose Nazarene University from 1990-2008. He served as a minister in British Columbia and Saskatchewan. 

Fred Ferraez, 94, of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away 18 February 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Mississippi, Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Missouri, and Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ferraez, who passed away in 2013.

Olga Jimenez, 72, of Riverside, California, passed away 22 February 2023. She was a retired minister who served in California. She is survived by her husband, Gabriel Jimenez Sr.

Meridith Marker, 83, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, passed away 26 February 2023. She was the wife of Charles Marker, a retired minister who served in West Virginia.  

Antonio Reyes, 62, of Madera, California, passed away 27 February 2023. He was the pastor of the Madera Spanish Church of the Nazarene since 2002. He is survived by his wife, Irma Reyes. 

Margie Whittaker, 102, of Greensburg, Kentucky, passed away 28 February 2023. She was the widow of Franklin Whittaker, a retired minister who served in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Kentucky. Franklin passed away in 2003.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity."
