The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 12-16 February 2024.

Leon Blaise, 68, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away 3 February 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Kansas, New York, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Blaise, who passed away in 2023.

John Carr, 74, of Harbor Springs, Michigan, passed away 9 February 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Carr.

John Cooper, 86, of Bowie, Maryland, passed away 5 February 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Maryland. He is survived by his wife, Frances.

David Krohn, 79, of Harrietta, Michigan, passed away 9 February 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Wisconsin and Michigan. He was survived by his wife, Donna Krohn.
Larry Lawrence, 73, of Leslie, Missouri, passed away 13 February 2024. He was a minister who served in New York and North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Jane Lawrence, a minister who currently serves at Union Word of Life Church of the Nazarene.

Shirley Reed, 80, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away 10 February 2024. She was the wife of Bill Reed, a retired minister who served in Kentucky and Indiana. 

Dennis Richardson, 69, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away 8 February 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Martha Richardson.

R. Phillip Sessions, 86, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away 10 February 2024. He was a retired district superintendent who led the Central Gulf Coast district from 1988 to 1997. He served as a minister in Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sessions.

Dorothy Stewart, 87, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away 8 February 2024. She was the widow of Robert Stewart, a retired minister who served in Ohio. Robert passed away in 2021.
