The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 12-16 December 2022.

Joel Ali, 68, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away 5 December 2022. He was a minister who served in Texas and New York. He is survived by his wife, Veronica Ali.

Richard Burdett, 77, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away 13 December 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Indiana and Illinois. He is survived by his wife Sheila Burdett.

Lesley Cierley, 83, of Bakersfield, California, passed away 2 December 2022. She was the widow of Mac Hollingsworth, a minister who served in California and Texas. Mac passed away in 1995.

Phyllis Cobb, 69, of Ajax, Ontario, Canada, passed away 10 December 2022. She was the widow of Harold Cobb, a retired minister who served in Ontario, Canada. Harold passed away in 2018.

Antony Duclos, 65, of Evans, Georgia, passed away 28 November 2022. He was a minister who served in California. He is survived by his wife, Marietta Duclos. 

Robert Malone, 94, of Centerville, Illinois, passed away 5 December 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Sharron Malone.

Betty Owens, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away 29 November 2022. She was a missionary who served in the Philippines from 1964-1982. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denny Owens, who she served alongside. Denny passed away in 2000.

William "Chip" Perkins III, 60, passed away 14 December 2022. He was a minister who served in Carnegie, Oklahoma. He was a minister who served at Carnegie Church of the Nazarene, with previous services in Illinois and Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Perkins. 

E. Howard Quantz, 86, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, passed away 6 December 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Washington and Idaho, USA, and Alberta, Canada. He is survived by his wife, Lorine Quantz.

Louis Scarbrough, 92, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away 7 December 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Scarbrough, who passed away in 2014.

Clayton Taylor, 88, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away 5 December 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma and Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Taylor, who passed away in 2017.

Evelyn Williams, 87, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away 8 December 2022. She was the widow of Russel McCollom, a retired minister who served in Kansas, California, and Arizona. Russel passed away in 2018. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Roger Williams, a retired minister who served in Alberta, Canada, Illinois, New York, Arizona, and Oklahoma. 

Raymond White, 68, of Danville, Illinois, passed away 14 December 2022. He was a minister at Danville First Church of the Nazarene, with previous service in Illinois and Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife, Wanda White.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
