The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 10-14 February 2025.

Charity Bartel, 51, of Visalia, California, passed away 6 February 2025. She was the pastor of Goshen Community Church of the Nazarene in Visalia. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Bartel Sr.

Todd Batzloff, 85, of Lake Odessa, Michigan, passed away 31 January 2025. He was a retired minister who served in Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Batzloff.

David Belzer, 89, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away 8 February 2025. He was a retired minister and evangelist who served in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Carol Belzer.

Doris Chandler, 99, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away 28 January 2025. She was the widow of Norman Chandler, a retired minister who served in Illinois. Norman passed away in December of 2024.

Wilson Deaton, 64, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away 4 February 2025. He was the pastor of Kenosha Family Church of the Nazarene. He served previously in Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Robin Deaton. 

Ronald Nelson, 91, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on 12 January 2025. He was a retired minister who served in Nebraska, Iowa, and Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Nelson, who passed away in 2019. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Corrine Nelsen, who passed away in 2001.

Carol Patrick, 91, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, passed away 12 February 2025. She was the widow of Melvin Patrick, a retired minister who served in Minnesota. Melvin passed away in 2023.

Waldemar Perez-Lopez, 63, of Arcola, Illinois, passed away 12 February 2025. He served as the pastor of Arcola Spanish Church of the Nazarene for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Damaris Perez.

Carolyn Ringer, 79, of Clarksburg, West Virginia, passed away 11 February 2025. She was the widow of Robert Ringer, a retired minister who served in West Virginia. Robert passed away in 2022.

Donna Roth, 94, of San Bernardino, California, 19 January 2025. Donna was the widow of Richard Roth, a retired minister and educator who served in California. Richard passed away 3 October 2024.
