The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 7-11 August 2023.

Betty Cummings, 90, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away 6 August 2023. She was a minister who served in Ohio and Missouri. She served as a missionary in Eswatini from 1960-1972.

Muzetta Chandler, 80, of East China, Michigan, passed away 6 August 2023. She was the wife of Robert Chandler, a retired minister who served in
David Dayhoff, 85, of Cumberland, Maryland, passed away 8 August 2023. He served as pastor of Cumberland Bethel Church of the Nazarene since 1962. He is survived by his wife, Janet Dayhoff.

Tabita Garcia, 79, of Alton, Texas, passed away 9 July 2023. She was a minister who served at Getsemaní Church of the Nazarene in Texas.

Dolores Harris, 94, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away 29 July 2023. She was the wife of Robert Harris, a retired minister who served in Illinois and Florida.

Jeannetta Houston, 80, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away 5 August 2023. She was the wife of Duane Houston, a retired minister who served in Iowa and South Carolina.

Rosa Hunter, 95, of Harper Woods, Michigan, passed away 5 August 2023. She was a retired minister who served in Iowa and Michigan. 

Retha Lancaster, 89, of Grant, Alabama, passed away 5 August 2023. She was the widow of Bill Lancaster, a retired district superintendent and minister. Bill led the Houston and Mississippi districts as superintendent and pastored in Alabama and North Carolina. Bill passed away in February of this year.

Mary Ledford, 92, of Stockton, California, passed away 27 July 2023. She was the widow of David Ledford, a retired minister, and chaplain who served in Oklahoma. David passed away in 2020.

Lisale Paselio, 45, of  Waianae, Hawaii, passed away 6 July 2023. He was a minister who served at First Samoan Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Julie Paselio. 

Gloria Stover, 83, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 23 July 2023. She was the wife of Omar Stover, a retired minister who served in Wyoming and Washington.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity."
