General Superintendent Eugénio R. Duarte announced the election of Rose Brower-Young as superintendent of the Canada West District.

Elected 23 June on the first ballot, Bower-Young replaces Larry Dahl, who is retiring after serving for 11 years in the position. Brower-Young will begin her new assignment 23 July. 

Brower-Young is currently the senior pastor at Calgary East Church of the Nazarene in Alberta, a position she has held since 2011. She previously pastored in Calgary, Medicine Hat, and Olds, Alberta.

She received her Bachelor of Theology from Canadian Nazarene College (now Ambrose University) in 1990.

Rose and her husband, Brad, currently reside in Calgary.
