The Board of General Superintendents has declared 26 January 2024 as the effective date for the 2023 Manual of the Church of the Nazarene.

A PDF version of the 2023 Manual in English is accessible via nazarene.org/manual. The printed version will be available May 2024 through The Foundry Publishing. More information will be provided as other translations (electronic and printed) are completed.

Following the 30th General Assembly, the Manual Editing Committee met to work on all resolutions that were adopted (or amended and adopted) by the Assembly. According to Manual paragraph 323, “the revised Manual of the Church of the Nazarene is to be effective in all appropriate languages when the Board of General Superintendents announces the official release date.”

Legislation affecting the Manual is now applicable.

A section of the General Assembly website, ga2023.nazarene.org/assembly, provided access to resolutions for General Assembly delegates and the general public prior to and during the 30th General Assembly. This section is still available to anyone who wishes to access it.

The website contains folders for each of the original resolutions submitted to the General Assembly (available in English, French, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish). A Calendar of Resolutions was posted to this site in July 2023, which identifies the specific action (adopted, amended and adopted, rejected, or referred) taken for each resolution by the 30th General Assembly. The resolutions are organized into separate folders by committees according to each resolution code.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
