The Board of General Superintendents declared March 15, 2014 as the effective date for the 2013-2017 Manual of the Church of the Nazarene. 

In June, the 2013 General Assembly commissioned a Manual Editing Committee to work on all resolutions which were adopted (or amended and adopted) by the Assembly. (Manual 902.4) Specific legislative language and updates (new or revised) are not deemed "official" until this committee's assignment is complete, which was late 2013. Legislation affecting the Manual is not applicable until the new Manual is declared effective by the Board of General Superintendents and is printed and released first in English. Subsequent translations follow as each language group completes those processes. (Manual 323)

A website (gar.nazarene.org) provided access to resolutions for General Assembly delegates and the general public prior to and during the 2013 General Assembly. This site is still available to anyone who wishes to access it, and no log-in is required to use it. 

This site contains folders that include a file for each of the original resolutions in five languages (English, French, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish), that were submitted to the General Assembly. A Calendar of Resolutions was posted to this site on August 1, 2013, which identifies the specific action (adopted, amended and adopted, rejected, or referred) taken for each resolution by the 2013 General Assembly. To view the calendar, scroll to the bottom of the homepage when the site opens and select the 2013 Calendar of Resolutions. The resolutions are organized into separate folders by committees according to each resolution code.
