Maximum Mission

In late November, a Maximum Mission trip was organized by the Nazarene Missions International (NMI) of the Venezuela Primero District, with the support of the Tree of Life Church of the Nazarene in Valencia, Venezuela.

The activity began when a young people visited the Monumental Church of the Nazarene, also located in Valencia, to start with a day of cleaning the building.

In addition, evangelism training was held at the church with the participation of 15 people, from adolescents to the elderly. They joined together to receive the training and initiate a new evangelism strategy in the community.

"I loved the activity," said Victor Romero, a 17-year-old from the Monumental Church of the Nazarene. "My favorite part was evangelizing house by house with the EvangeBall. It was my first time evangelizing someone."

During the event, several groups were formed based on age. These groups went out into the community to evangelize. In addition, seven bags of food were distributed through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.

Pastor Alí Jiménez and the district coordinators of the marriage ministry, Carlos and Germania de Cadavid, gave a marriage workshop at the Tree of Life church. Eight couples participated, including one that testified that their relationship had been restored.

Later, the pastor and the discipleship coordinator, Silvia de Gómez, led a Vacation Bible School with the help of the young people present. The attendees played games, enjoyed snacks, and watched a puppet show where the young people explained the plan of salvation to the 15 children attending.

At dusk, the team gathered in the sanctuary to lead a devotional where the young people of the churches present had the opportunity to lead worship together.

"I had a lot of fun," said Alixamar, a 14-year-old from Monumental Church of the Nazarene. "I loved meeting new people and working with the children."
