Nicaragua churches pray for peace
by | 16 May 2018
Churches throughout Nicaragua came together in prayer and worship from 29 April to 5 May in response to recent protests where more than 40 people have died. The Los Ranchos, El Rodeo, Sector 9, La Carbonera, El Cascabel, San Antonio de Padua, and Sonís churches participated.
Attendance at these services ranged from 100 to 300 people each night. During this time, more than 20 people made decisions to follow Christ. Evangelist Clementina Dávila preached the Word of God while the musical groups Duo Libertad and Proezas ministered through music.
Each night there was worship, preaching, and a time to pray that the violence would end, that the national dialogue would be fruitful, and that peace would be restored.
