The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 30 January - 3 February 2023.

D. Lee Allison, 96, of Mount Olive, Alabama, passed away 30 January 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, Vermont, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Faye Allison. 

Jerry Cordell, 82, of Los Alamitos, California, passed away 30 January 2023. He was the assistant District Superintendent of the Anaheim district. He served as a minister in Iowa, Minnesota, California, Idaho, and Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cordell.

Magally Figueroa, 71, of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. She was a minister who served in British Columbia, Canada. 

Donna Horne, 59, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away 26 January 2023. She was the wife of Jeffery Horne, who currently serves at Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene. 

Richard Lancaseter, 75, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away 19 January 2023. He was the husband of Joni Lancaster, a minister who serves at San Angelo First Church of the Nazarene.

Eva Lowe, 95, of Many, Louisiana, passed away 24 January 2023. She was the widow of Winston Lowe, a retired minister who served in Louisiana. Winston passed away in 2018. 

Genevieve Mastin, 90, of Montevideo, Minnesota, passed away 30 January 2023. She was the widow of Ivan Mastin, a retired minister who served in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Ivan passed away in 2020.

Clifford Mayo, 96, of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away 31 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Texas. He is survived by his wife, Ann Hohner.

Virginia Powers, 94, of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, passed away 25 January 2023. She was the widow of Carl Powers, a retired minister and evangelist who served in Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri. Carl passed away in 2013.

M. Catherine Smith, 93, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away 2 February 2023. She was a missionary who served for 23 years in the Caribbean countries of Haiti, St. Lucia, Trinidad, and Martinique. She was the widow of Gene Smith, a retired minister and missionary she served alongside. Gene passed away in 2000.    

Elizabeth Schendel, 89, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away 23 January 2023. She was a missionary who served in Papua New Guinea for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Schendel, who she served alongside. Darly passed away in 2021.  

Kenton Stiles, 55, of Marion, Indiana, passed away 27 January 2023. He was a minister who served in Oregon and California. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Stiles.

David Tish, 70, of Greenleaf, Idaho, passed away 27 January 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Idaho, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Tish.
