Africa Region announces new leader for Africa South Field

The Africa Region announced the appointment of Solomon Ndlovu as field strategy coordinator for the Africa South Field, effective 1 July 2021.

Ndlovu is the third born son of 10 children and hails from Welverdiend Village in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, South Africa. He served as superintendent of the Eastern District on Africa South Field for 11 years. During his tenure, the district grew from 4,892 to 15,022 members and from 45 to 75 churches. 

In addition to his work with the district, Ndlovu pastored Thulamahashe Church of the Nazarene from 2003 to date. He grew the church from 226 to 1,509 members. He was also a General Board member for eight years and served as district youth president for four years.

Ndlovu is a Nazarene Theological College–South Africa graduate, where he obtained a diploma in theology. He holds honorary degrees in theological ethics and pastoral theology from the University of South Australia. He is currently working toward his master’s in systematic theology at St Augustine College in South Africa. 

Solomon is married to Khomotso Gloria Chiloane-Ndlovu, who serves as a police chaplain for Mpumalanga South African Police Service. They are blessed with three children, Risimati, Yinhla, and Ntshembo.
