The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 14-18 October 2024.

Duane Baty, 70, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away 16 October 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Kansas and Arkansas, and served at the Global Ministry Center for the Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Susan Baty.

Helen Bowden, 95, of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away 6 October 2024. She was the widow of Alfred Bowden, a retired minister who served in Florida. Alfred passed away in 2022.

Debbie Brown, 76, of Charlotte, Tennessee, passed away 13 October 2024. She was the widow of Dwayne Brown, a retired superintendent who led the Northern Michigan District from 2002-2015. He served as a minister in New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Michigan, and Florida. Dwayne passed away in 2022.

Betty Carver, 98, of Lake Forest, California, passed away 30 September 2024. She was the widow of Frank Carver, a retired minister who served in Nebraska, New York, and California. Frank Passed away in 2017. 

Robert Chandler, 86, of East China, Michigan, passed away 1 October 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Illinois and Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Muzzetta Chandler, who passed away in 2023.

J. Steven Fargo, 76, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away 10 November 2024. He was a retired minister who served in West Virginia, Arizona, Texas, and British Columbia, Canada. He is survived by his wife, Linda Fargo. 

Linda Hill, 79, of Monroe, Washington, passed away 5 October 2024. She was the widow of Boyd Hill, a retired minister who served in Tennessee, Alabama. Boyd passed away in September.

Ida Taylor, 96, of Camden, Arkansas, passed away 9 October 2024. She was the widow of James Taylor, a retired minister who served in Texas and Louisiana.

Richard Titterington, 89, of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada, passed away 16 October 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Saskatehewan, Alberta, and Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Titterington.

Billie Watson, 89, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away 11 October 2024. She was the widow of Luther Watson, a retired minister who served in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Florida, and Illinois. Luther passed away in 2009.
