The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 7 to 13 December 2019.

Peggy Cecil, 57, of Manning, South Carolina, passed away 9 December 2019. She was the spouse of Stephen Cecil, who pastors Manning New Start Community Church of the Nazarene.

L. Gene Cook, 79, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed away 10 December 2019. He was a retired minister, serving in Kentucky, Tennessee, Kansas, Georgia, and Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Linda.

Jeanie Helstrom, 59, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away 11 December 2019. She was the wife of minister Brian Helstrom, who is the Executive Director of JESUS Film Harvest Partners.

Joyce Hoffman, 89, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away 6 December 2019. She was the spouse of retired minister, Harold Hoffman, who served in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.

Susan Luka, 64, of Louisville Kentucky, passed away 4 December 2019. She was the wife of Henry Luka, who served in Illinois, and Kentucky. 

Alyce McCullough, 84, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away 6 December 2019. She was the widow of Forrest McCullough, who served in Tennessee. Forrest passed away in 1975.

Robert McLellan, 70, of Shelburne, Ontario, passed away 6 December 2019. He was the pastor of Shelburne Grace Church of the Nazarene in Canada. He is survived by his wife, Maxine.

Jack Smithwick Sr., 87, of Nashville, Georgia, passed away 8 December 2019. He was the pastor of Nashville Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Lois.

Larry Steveley, 87, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away 9 December 2019. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Mary.
