Preparing the way
During this Christmas season, we pause and take time to reflect on the hope that was born long ago in Jesus, our Messiah. As we gaze upon the infant Christ child, we consider the miracle of birth and the hope of new life, which we find in and through Him. Jesus’ life is a witness that He came for us to “have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10 NIV).
Christmas is a special time when we have the opportunity to share the hope of Jesus with our world. Whether we offer a cup of cold water, a hot meal, or extend an invitation to worship our Lord, Nazarenes have always generously shared with others. May we always prepare the way for the light of Christ to illuminate the pathway of hope to a world in darkness.
