Philippines-Micronesia Field held its first Nazarene Missions International Leaders' Enhancement Fellowship 4-8 August 2022. Nearly 20 NMI leaders from 12 districts in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao participated in the gathering.

Christine Mosuela, Asia-Pacific Region NMI coordinator, shared that the goal of the fellowship was to re-introduce NMI’s five areas of impact, which are prayer, Alabaster, World Evangelism Fund, engaging children and youth, and care and connection.

Mosuela hopes to empower NMI leaders to advocate and promote the ministry of NMI in their districts. Mosuela also shared the vision and direction of the regional NMI for the coming years.

Some of the conference topics were:

  • Understanding NMI better
  • Empowering NMI leaders in the field
  • Sharing best practices in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
  • Vision 2025
  • Fellowship
  • District NMI leaders’ commitment to the advancement of missions in PMF

District leaders were inspired by the messages given by Regional Director Mark Louw, General Superintendent David Graves, and former NMI Regional Coordinators Connie Lou Aebischer and Lynn Schmidt.

Mosuela and her team are looking forward to organizing another Leaders' Enhancement Fellowship for other locations in the Asia-Pacific Region. This was a dream come true for Mosuela, who had been envisioning an event like this for the past eight years since becoming a district NMI president.
