Adriano Pedroso was elected superintendent of the Minas Gerais District of Brazil on 5 February 2022. Pedroso has been the pastor of Igreja do Nazareno Betel since 1998.

On 7 March 2022, he will replace Manuel Lima, who for the last two years has served in an interim capacity. Lima is the director of the Brazil sub-region.

“We wish Rev. Adriano Pedroso a time of blessing, vision, and grace of God as head of the Minas Gerais District and that this extends to all churches in the district,” Lima said.

Pedroso was raised in a Christian home, and he had a true encounter with the Lord in 1996, when he gave his life to Christ. He heard the irresistible call of God to pastoral ministry, and at the age of 22, he began his studies at Nazarene Theological Seminary of Brazil.

He began working on the staff of Igreja do Nazareno Alto dos Pinheiros in 1996. However, he resigned in 1998 to start and pastor Igreja do Nazareno Betel in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

He and his wife, Vivane, have three children and currently reside in Belo Horizonte.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
