Mexico Olmeca District holds first children’s CCO

by | 07 May 2019

The Mexico Olmeca District hosted its first children’s Cross-Cultural Orientation 25-27 April at the Coatzacoalcos Church of the Nazarene.

Nearly 15 children participated in the event led by six district leaders and six other adult volunteers.

“The children were impacted by what it is to be a missionary in the Church of the Nazarene,” said Ofelia Salinas Mijangos, the Olmeca District Nazarene Missions International president. “They gave great testimonies about what God did in their lives through this event.”

Regional NMI Coordinator Ana María Crocker said the Children’s CCO is part of a regional strategy to involve youth and children in missions. They will continue to hold events like this in districts across the region.

“We praise God, and we pray for and bless the leaders and children who were part of the children’s CCO,” Crocker said.
