The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received May 2-6, 2016.

Louise (Dilley) Bennett, 92, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away May 2. She was the widow of retired minister, evangelist, and chaplain Stanley Bennett Jr., who served in Ohio and New Mexico. Stanely Bennett Jr. passed away in 2006. 

Vernon Hurles, 86, of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away May 4. He was a retired minister, serving in Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hurles. 

Kateembo Moses of Zambia passed away April 23. He was a minister and educator, serving in Zambia. He is survived by his wife.

Loretta "Faye" (Allen) Riley, 80, of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away May 2. She was a retired missionary, serving in Swaziland and South Africa. She is survived by her husband, retired missionary Thomas Riley, who served in Swaziland and South Africa. (story)

Charles "Chuck" Ruby, 87, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away May 2. He was a retired minister, serving in Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ruby. 

Inez Stepp, 84, of Apple Valley, California, passed away May 6. She was the widow of retired minister Carlos Stepp Jr., who served in California. Carlos Step Jr. passed away in 1992. 

Shelby (Hamrick) Thompson, 76, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away April 29. She was the wife of retired minister Gene Thompson, who served in Ohio.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
