The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received December 14, 2015 - January 8, 2016.

Phyllis (Neiderhiser) Biscoe, 87, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away December 30. She was a retired Nazarene Headquarters employee. She is survived by her husband, retired minister and chaplain Joseph Biscoe Jr., who served in Pennsylvania, Deleware, Maryland, Michigan, and Kansas. 

David Ching, 50, of Houston, Mississippi, passed away December 23. He was a minister, previously serving in Missouri and Mississippi. He is survived by his wife, Angela (Graham) Ching. More information will be posted as it is made available.

Dorothy (Singletary) Hampton, 88, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away December 25. She was the widow of retired minister and educator J. Pleais Hampton, who served in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. J. Pleais Hampton passed away in 2006.

Richard Hawley, 89, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away January 7. He was a retired minister, serving in Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Hawley. 

Phillip Jones, 65, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away January 6. He was a minister, serving at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Rock Hill. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Jones. More information will be posted as it is made available.

Wayne Mardis, 80, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away January 4. He was a minister, serving at Huntsville University Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Mardis.

Vernon Marsh, 73, of O'Leary, Prince Edward Island, Canada, passed away December 18. He was a retired minister, serving in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Lalonde) Marsh.

Vivian Miller, 94, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away December 31. She was the widow of retired minister Harold Miller Sr., who served in Indiana and Florida. Harold Miller Sr. passed away in 2000. 

Edelmira Rodriguez of El Progreso, Panama, passed away January 5. She was the pastor of the El Pregreso Church of the Nazarene and mother-in-law of Mesoamerica Regional Director Carlos Saenz. (story)

J. Monty Stewart, 50, of Walnut Creek, California, passed away January 6. He was a minister, serving at Christ Community Church of the Nazarene in Concord, California. He is survived by his wife, Janelle Stewart. More information will be posted as it is made available.
