The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 5-9 August 2024.

Chelsie Deaton, 38, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away 3 August 2024. She was a minister who served in Wisconsin. 

Mardel Sechrengost, 73, of Stoystown, Pennsylvania, passed away 3 August 2024. She was the widow of Curtis Kaptein, a retired minister who served in Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. She is survived by her second husband, William Sechrengost. 

Allen Schaarschmidt, 76, of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away 31 July 2024. He was the pastor of Blessed Hope Church of the Nazarene in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania, since 1986. 

Wanita Stover, 95, of Lewes, Delaware, passed away 2 August 2024. She was the widow of Glen Stover, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Alabama, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Indiana.
