The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 3-7 October 2022.

Sophie Abel, 98, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada passed away 2 October 2022. She was the widow of Stewart Abel, a retired minister who served in Alberta and British Columbia, Columbia, Iowa, and Illinois. Stewart passed away in 2007. 

Eunice Adkins, 77, of South Point, Ohio, passed away 27 September 2022. She was a retired minister who served in Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chalres Adkins, a retired minister who served in Ohio, Virgina, and Kentucky. Charles passed away in September.

Ruffine Beausséjour, 67, of Orlando, Florida, passed away 3 October 2022. She was the wife of Rude Beausséjour, who pastors Orlando Second Haitian Church of the Nazarene. 

Norflee Harrison, 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away 4 October 2022. He was a retired minister who served in California and Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Mary Harrison.

Octavio Rodriguez Jr, 60, of Valrico, Florida, passed away 5 October 2022. He was a minister who served at Brandon Center of Unction. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Rodriguez. 

Cora Ursula Smith, 81, of Ozark, Alabama, passed away 1 October 2022. She was the widow of Roy Smith, a minister who served in Alabama. Roy passed away in 1992.

Lawrence Wright, 79, of Smithfield, Illinois, passed away 4 October 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Illinois, Minnesota, New Mexico, and Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Jane Wright.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
