In Memoriam fall leaves

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 2-6 October 2023.

Wilda Aubrey, 93, of Bethany, Oklahoma, passed away 30 September 2023. She was the wife of Gayland Aubrey, a retired minister who served in Kansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma.

Louise Brown, 89, of Aransas Pass, Texas, passed away 25 September 2023. She was a missionary for 16 years, serving in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Haiti. She served alongside her husband, Bobby Brown, who also served as a minister in Texas. 

Robert Gaut, 94, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away 27 September 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, who passed away in 2019.

Roger Hahn, 73, of Spring Hill, Kansas, passed away 6 October 2023. He was the pastor of Overland Park Church of the Nazarene in Kansas. He also served as a minister and educator in North Carolina and served as an Educator at Southern Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy.

Daniel Keeton, 60, of Garden Grove, California, passed away 3 October 2023. He was a retired minister who served in California. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Keeton.

Lela Zehrt, 95, of Solon, Iowa, passed away 27 September 2023. She was the widow of Carlton Zehrt, a retired minister who served in Kansas, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Carlton passed away in 2007.
