The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 15-19 August 2022.

Maria Castillo de Peña, 93, of San Bernardino, California, passed away 16 August 2022. She was the widow of Victor Peña, a retired minister who served in Nicaragua and California. Victor passed away in 2015.
Crystal Langford, 86, of Rossville, Tennessee, passed away 6 August 2022. She was the widow of Clark Langford, a retired minister who served in Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina. Clark passed away in 2016.

Dan League, 77, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away 16 August 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Alaska, Illinois and Missiouri. He is survived by his wife, Jean League

W. Howard Griffin, 102, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, passed away 11 August 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Griffin, who passed away in 2019.

Pauline Maule, 95, of North Port, Florida, passed away 8 August 2022. She was the widow of O. Alvin Maule, a retired minister who served in Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida. Alvin passed away in 2006.

Taphath Robertson, 76, of Brookville, Ohio, passed away 16 August 2022. She was the wife of Allen Robertson, the pastor of Brookville Church of the Nazarene. 

Francis Runyon, 97, of Smith Center, Kansas, passed away 16 August 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Kansas. 

Edward Turnbull, 85, of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away 14 August 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Turnbull, who passed away in 2020.

Ardeth Vanderpool, 98, of Anacortes, Washington, passed away 12 August 2022. She was the widow of Ramon Vanderpool, a retired minister who served in Oregon, Kansas, Washington, and Colorado. Ramon passed away in 2015.

The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
