Jason A. Caddy was appointed superintendent of the North Carolina District on 2 January 2025. Caddy currently pastors Columbia Grace Church of the Nazarene in Columbia, Tennessee.

The appointment was made by General Superintendent T. Scott Daniels in consultation with the Board of General Superintendents and the North Carolina District Advisory Council.

Caddy follows Brad Kochis, who has served as superintendent since 2022. Kochis accepted a job with Mount Vernon Nazarene University as chief development officer for the Office of University Advancement. 

Caddy’s appointment is effective 2 February 2024. 

He was a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University, earning a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry in 1995. He served on staff at Gracepointe Church of the Nazarene in Atlanta, Georgia (1997-1999), and Champion Church of the Nazarene (1999-2002), in Warren, Ohio.

He became pastor of Omaha Faith Journey Church of the Nazarene in November of 2002, serving there until 2007. Caddy subsequently served pastorates at St. Louis Ferguson Church of the Nazarene (2007-2010), New Philadelphia First Church of the Nazarene (2010-2015), and Dayton Parkview Church of the Nazarene (2015-2019), both in Ohio.

Caddy became pastor of Columbia Grace Church of the Nazarene in 2019.

He and his wife, Tina, have one adult son, Zachary Caddy, who serves at Owosso First Church of the Nazarene in Michigan.
