The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 8-12 February 2021.

Ethel Blackmon, 95, of Houston, Texas, passed away 5 February 2021. She was the widow of Paul Blackmon, a retired minister who served in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas. Paul passed away in 2005.

Billie Brewer, 87, of Tuscon, Arizona, passed away 7 February 2021. She was the widow of John Brewer, a retired minister who served in Arkansas, Arizona, and California. John passed away in 2004.

Elizabeth Coffman, 87, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away 11 February. She was the widow of John Coffman, a retired minister who served in Ohio. John passed away in 1999.

Lyle Curtis, 79, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away 6 February 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Dilda Curtis.

Winona Davison, 92, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away 31 January 2021. She was the widow of Frank Davison, a retired minister who served in Michigan and Florida. Frank passed away in 2010. 

Ladonna Doane, 79, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 5 February 2021. She was the widow of Ray Doane, a minister and superintendent who served in California, Idaho, and Arizona and led the Anaheim District. Ray passed away in 2011.

M. Rosalyn Eagle, 96, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away 4 February 2021. She was the widow of Glenn Eagle, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Texas. Glenn passed away in 2014.

Tollie Elder Jr., 84, of Bardstown, Kentucky, passed away 6 February 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Kentucky and Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Elder, who passed away in 2017.

Lloyd Grimm Jr., 98, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away 10 February 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Grimm, who passed away in August 2020.

Laura Grosse, 89, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away 3 February 2021. She was the widow of Robert Grosse, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Rhode Island, Maryland, New York, and Ohio.

Carolyn Harbison, 92, of Jasper, Alabama, passed away 27 December 2020. She was the wife of Willis Harbison, a retired minister who served in Alabama and Mississippi.

G. Lloyd Howell, 79, of Verdi, Nevada, passed away 29 January 2021. He was a retired minister who served in California, Montana, and Wyoming. He is survived by his wife, Karen Howell.

Chester Kneir, 84, of Madison, Indiana, passed away 8 February 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Missouri and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Kneir.

Janice Kneisley, 61, of Hiawatha, Kansas, passed away 8 February 2021. She was the wife of Kevin Kneisley, who pastors Holton New Life Church of the Nazarene. 

Jesús Piña, 75, of Tuscon, Arizona, passed away 30 January 2021. He was a minister at Tuscon New Life Community Church of the Nazarene. He was survived by his wife, Marie Piña.

Marie Piña, 74, of Tuscon Arizona, passed away 7 February 2021. She was the widow of Jesús Piña, who served at Tuscon New Life Community Church of the Nazarene. He passed away in January 2021.

Kathy Phillips, 71, of Bald Knob, Arkansas, passed away 5 February 2021. She was the wife of David Phillips, a retired minister who served in Arkansas.

Melvin Tucker, 85, of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, passed away 9 February 2021. He was a retired minister who served in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba, Canada. He is survived by his wife, Lorna Tucker.

Johnny Wheelbarger, 83, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away 4 February 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Virginia and Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Wheelbarger, who passed away in 2006.
