An annual lecture series can provide an experienced missions practitioner to speak in chapel services, lead a daylong seminar, and meet with students planning on missionary service. The Donald Owens School of World Mission is named for the former missionary and founding president of APNTS, who later became a Nazarene general superintendent, and helps develop global awareness on the campus throughout the year. This three-day event held each fall semester offers a special emphasis on missions and, through the expertise of special guests and missions faculty, focuses on making the APNTS motto, "bridging cultures for Christ” an ongoing reality across the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.
