Bunia is a city of approximately 450,000 people in the North-eastern corner of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The city has one local church that currently meets in the home of one of its members. Its pastor is Rev. Roger Kalongi from Goma, is supported as a district missionary. 
We believe that God wants to strengthen and encourage the group of believers in Bunia. For this reason, we are requesting funds to purchase a plot of land so that the church can begin to move outside of the home and more effectively impact its community.
We are anticipating that when the church moves out of the home where it is currently located, it will be more visible and active in the community. The church is already reaching out and inviting people, but some are hesitant to attend a church that takes place in an individual's home. We pray that the church will continue to grow in quality and quantity through your support of this project.
