Celebrating the life, ministry of Hortence Balibanga

Hortence Balibanga, 54, of Yaounde, Cameroon, passed away 16 July 2024. She was a missionary, serving the Church of the Nazarene in Cameroon since 2018. Hortence was a prayer warrior. Her heart was to reach orphans, and she had a passion for women’s ministry.

Arizona church sews thousands of dresses annually for young girls

Young girls around the world are receiving dresses and the message that God loves them, thanks to Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene's "Dress a Girl" sewing group. What started in 2012 as a small group of women has grown to 100 people.

More than 800 women from Peru met in Chiclayo for the National Congress of Nazarene Women of Peru, held 28-30 June. The event was organized by the Ministry of Women with the motto "Renewed for the Race."

Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*.

Argentina Water is Life project

Water and Life helps develop rural Argentina church and its community

On June 28 and 29, the Noroeste Argentino District, the Maximum Missions program, and the district youth carried out the Water and Life project in the village of Azogasta, Argentina. The region has no electricity or drinking water.

Church of the Nazarene growing in south Madagascar

Thanks to local leaders’ passion for church planting, the Ambovombe Zone in southern Madagascar has added more than 20 new Churches of the Nazarene in the last three years. Three days of training equipped these leaders for continued evangelism and discipleship in their communities.
